I am a Registered Counsellor registered with the HPCSA and BACP. My practice is based in Goodwood, Cape Town and via online platforms. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology (BPsych Equivalent) Degree at Cornerstone Institute. My formative training took place at the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) which involved working in diverse school settings. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have experience in working with various mental health challenges such as grief, trauma, anxiety, low mood, stress, familial/ relationship difficulties and school/work-related difficulties.

I work on the notion that the therapeutic relationship between the client and counsellor is vital, which means that it is important for me to create an authentic counselling space. I believe that people are the experts of their own lives and sometimes we need some help along the way to be reminded of this.
